Privacy
What the ErrorDock website collects, why, how long it is kept, and where the product's own data handling is documented.
Draft — not yet in force
The facts below describe what the site does today. This page is published so the link works and so the current position is written down somewhere, not because the wording is settled. It has not been reviewed by a lawyer, it is excluded from search indexing, and it will be replaced before general availability. If you need a binding answer today, ask us and you will get one in writing.
Looking for what ErrorDock does with your telemetry?
That is a different question and it has a fuller answer: Data and privacy covers what the SDKs collect, what they deliberately do not, how scrubbing runs inside your application before anything is sent, where it is held, retention, and the controller and processor relationship.
This page is about the website you are reading right now.
Reading the site
The public pages use no analytics script, tag manager or third-party
request of any kind — the Content-Security-Policy is default-src 'self' and
the site uses system fonts. Ordinary web server request logs exist, as they do for any
site, and are used to keep the thing running.
If you send us a message
The contact form stores what you typed: your name, your email address, an optional company, the topic you chose, your message, and which page you came from. Alongside it we store a salted SHA-256 hash of your IP address — enough to investigate abuse of the form, not enough to identify you, and not reversible if the database were ever exposed.
Messages are stored rather than emailed, because there is no mail provider configured yet. They are read by the people who run ErrorDock and used to reply to you.
Engineering updates
Email newsletter signup is not available. The public RSS feed can be read without giving us an email address.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or share this data.
- We do not profile you across sites; there is nothing here that could.
- We do not send marketing to an address that has not confirmed.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us through the contact form and say which; we will confirm in writing when it is done.
The lawful basis differs by route: the contact form is processed to answer you, the RSS feed can be accessed without creating a subscription record.
Still to be settled
The following are not yet decided and will be stated here once they are: the legal entity and its address, the named contact for data protection, retention periods for contact messages, the list of subprocessors, and the hosting region. Ask and we will tell you where each of them currently stands.
